I GOT A JOB WITH
OTTAWA COUNTY!!!!!!!
Paid vacation, paid sick time, health insurance, and a permanent position, here I come! It's quite exciting to know that if I ever do feel sick I don't have to go into work because I will still be paid!!! It's awful to feel like you must go into work when you are sick to your stomach or have an awful headache, just because you still want a full paycheque.
My title: records processing clerk II for the Environmental Health Department of Ottawa County. This is the office where they do water testing, and where various animals are sent to be tested for diseases (misquitos, racoons, birds, etc.) I will be one of four clerks, helping the public, receiving shipments, and other such clerical responsibilities that I will be given. I start next Tuesday: December 27th - no Christmas holiday pay, but I'll be paid for doing NOTHING on New Years Day!!! WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for any other news, which was hoped for in the comments to my last post: I'm beginning to wonder if anyone will believe me when that time comes...Anyway, most of you girls will receive personal emails before I post such an announcement on my blog............
but you never know who...............

I figured it was the job, and that is AWESOME! Congrats Judy! It is always smart to be prepared before jumping into the "other thing" It is tough when you don't know how you will pay for the next doctors vist... trust me! Again, congrats!

Yeah, I figured it was the job, too...I figured you'd enjoy the moments of torture...congrats, though! I wish I could find a job! Especially one like that!

Judy, So happy for your final comfort in employment! That is such a huge thing! We are very happy for you. Now, I'm going to sound like the scrooge in all of this, but ignore all the baby comments (Unless you don't want to)...my advice is to completely relish this time of marriage. It will never be like this again. We just had our 3rd anniversary; I would never trade these three years with uninterrupted husband time for anything! Strengthen the bond of marriage- that is the best preparation for starting a family! A strong mommy-daddy relationship makes a strong family. I do look forward to someday seeing little Judy's though! ;-) Love yoU!
Yeah!! I was so excited to read the news! I have to admit, I would have been even more excited if it was about a roach that was going to be brought into the world in like 8 months!! LOL
